My Village Foundation

Who We Are

The Clark – Gilmore- Frierson Family is a community driven family.  The services provided by the Foundation is to support the family.

The phrase “It takes a village” is a proverb that means many people’s help or involvement is necessary to achieve a significant goal or help someone through a challenge. It is most often used in the form “It takes a village to raise a child”, emphasizing that raising a child is not just a parent’s responsibility but a collective effort involving extended family, teachers, neighbors, friends, and the wider community

It Takes A Village Foundation offers a range of programs and services aimed at protecting children, supporting families, and building stronger communities. Their work is guided by the belief that raising a child is a shared responsibility and that community involvement is essential for well-being

Impact Stories

I was falling behind in my class, but after I learned my multiplication tables, I did much better in math.

I was not able to keep up with my class.  After working with Ms Sharon in my 2nd grade period, I was caught up with my class by the time it was testing. I was so happy they helped me.
