HOLMES Family

The Holmes family originated in Marietta, Georgia, with the marriage of Ella Louise and Theophilus Holmes. to Martha’s siblings. The couple moved with their extended family to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  To their union they born: Adolphus, Joseph, Hattie, Richard and Earnest. Theophilus worked as a brick mason while Ella washed clothes and  remained at home to care for the children and manage the household.
